| This is a print of my illustration of a classic lullaby "All Through the Night". The calligraphy was done by hand. The original was created for a
friend's baby girl. If you would like a custom original of a favorite poem or lullaby illustrated and done in calligraphy, please contact me for a quote. I can add your child's name to the work or whatever you need, or even draw your baby sleeping to go with the lullaby. |
| This whimsical nautical creation is a detail from my illustration based on Eugene Field's classic children's poem "Wynken, Blyken, and Nod". The original has the first stanza of the poem in
calligraphy on a drawing of a torn piece of old paper, but I cropped that part off as I'm unsure about copyright issues on making prints including part of the poem. The models for the children were my three boys. Completed March 31, 2004, ink, crayon, colored pencil, and oil pastel, and run through 'posterize' filter in MS Image Composer. The original has metallic silver and gold paint on the fishing net, and a silver lining on the clouds and moon.

| Children's Book Illustration. Completed March 26, 2004. Title: Innocence. Remember the days when dandelions
were not an annoying weed but was a magical toy to blow in the wind! This drawing was done in marker and colored pencil, and digitally airbrushed in MS Image Composer. In the original rough draft drawing the angel has short dark hair, and the paper has more texture to it and some of the details are different.
